South Division Stop #5
The R&B South tournament made the 5th stop at historic Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. For the second straight tournament, only 1 limit was brought to the scales on a tough day of fishing. The final stop for the South Division is September 22nd at Lake Shafer out of Indiana Beach.
Pattern: Covering as much water as possible
Baits: Jigs, soft plastics, and swim baits
How it Happened: Gipson and Noe move to sole position of second on the all-time wins list and became the second team to break the $10,000 mark on the all-time money list with the victory. The two focused on deep docks and submerged brush/logs to catch 5 keepers. The team covered as much water as possible from the Norway Dam to Ski Island.
Winnings - $270
