A leader in the Michiana area as a tournament director and competitor, Mickey Thomas has become a regular to the "Introduction to Bass Fishing" class and a student favorite.
Mickey Thomas
As he did in 2008, Thomas spent over an hour with the students. He first spoke to the class in their classroom, and then ate lunch with them in the cafeteria.
Unfortunately for the students, it rained cats and dogs April 29, 2009; the day Thomas came to see them. He brought his wrapped boat & truck, but students were not able to go outside. However, the students were still given an education on how the lessons of fishing are applicable to life. He encouraged students to apply themselves in school, make healthy decisions, put the video games down, and get outside!

Students soak in the words of Thomas while toying with their free Poor Boy's Baits provided by Thomas.
